Desktop Icons And Taskbar Disappeared?!?

T_T, well, it started when i downloaded an update for my Kaspersky anti-virus and it said that i have to restart my computer to complete the updating thing. when i restarted it and got on the user screen (the one where you have to pick the user) i picked a user and loaded longer than it should and when it loaded all desktop icons and the taskbar were missing!!! and i already tried the "explorer.exe" thingy and it said "explorer.exe is not a valid Win32 application" and i also did some other things like scanning malware on my pc.pls help me im really frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! X(
